Experience

Anushka has over 3 years of experience in Intellectual Property litigation. She appears before various District Courts and Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in infringement suits, appeals and cancellation proceedings. She has also successfully represented several clients in trade mark opposition proceedings before the Intellectual Property Office and domain disputes before the National Internet Exchange of India and WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.

Anushka provides clients with strategic guidance on risk mitigation and helps develop effective action plans to address infringement issues. In addition to handling litigation, she manages pre-litigation processes, including issuing cease and desist notices, negotiating settlements, and finalizing agreements with opposing parties. Her advisory work also spans design law, copyright law, advertising law, and gaming law.

She also assists in drafting and reviewing licensing agreements, assignment agreements and vetting of different contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Beyond contentious matters, Anushka supports clients in structuring and executing commercial transactions involving IP assets, including mortgage of IP assets.

Anushka has a deep passion for watercolor painting and enjoys creating caricatures in her free time. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has showcased her talent at various national-level events. Her artistic pursuits lend her a creative perspective, enhancing her ability to communicate ideas effectively and think innovatively in her legal practice.
