A graduate of the esteemed Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Chetan earned his LL.B. in 2003 with a strong foundation in legal principles, later becoming a registered Patent Attorney with the Indian Patent Office. His extensive experience includes advising global corporations, startups, and innovators on complex IP matters, ensuring robust protection and strategic monetization of their intellectual assets. Under his leadership, Chadha & Chadha has expanded its presence to ten offices across India, including Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune, solidifying its position as a premier IP boutique.

His experience includes securing patent protection in complex technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), image processing and displays. He has also drafted several patent applications in 5G technology (including potential SEPs) and has successfully obtained grants for computer-related inventions, including graph-based computation, in India — often with broader protection than many other jurisdictions.

Chetan regularly represents large Indian and foreign corporations in high-stakes litigation and enforcement actions. Known for his ability to simplify complex issues and deliver actionable solutions, he has played a pivotal role in securing favourable outcomes.
