Experience:
Gaurav brings over 20 years of experience across the complete spectrum of patent practice having worked in-house and with international IP service firms. His extensive background includes drafting and prosecuting over 2,000 patent applications globally spanning emerging tech domains such as AI, automotive, and telecom. He has a proven track record in managing high-stakes patent litigation at the Delhi High Court and complex patent prosecution and opposition matters at the Indian Patent Office.

• LL.M. in IP Law –Dean’s Merit Scholarship - Cardozo Law School, NYC, NY, USA.
• B.E. – College Color Holder - PEC, Chandigarh, India
• LL.B. – GLC, Mumbai, India
• Registration as a Patent Agent in India
• USPTO Patent Bar [Qualified – not practicing]
• Advocate-on-record registered with the Bar Council of Delhi.
Personal Interests:
Outside of his active practice, Gaurav enjoys international cinema, literature, and philosophy. He is also a published author of a book – “Patently Obvious Comma” about the interpretation of the Indian Patent Act. Gaurav is passionate about legal research and generously dedicates his free time, pro bono, to mentoring bright young law students preparing for the Indian patent agent exam.
