Bharathwaj R has a dual background with degrees in both engineering and law. During his LLB programme, he completed multiple internships at Ericsson and Remfry and Sagar. Beyond his current firm practice, he was previously a SpicyIP analyst and a regular contributor to SpicyIP. Additionally, in his professional capacity, he has participated in stakeholder consultations with the Indian Patent Office regarding the CRI Guidelines 2025. Similarly, he submitted written comments to DPIIT on their report on the Working Paper on Generative AI and Copyright and the Design concept note 2026, outlining proposed amendments to the Designs Act, 2000, as an independent stakeholder.
